What is Chargemap Boost?

The Chargemap Boost subscription is a complementary service to the free Chargemap offer, allowing you to charge your electric vehicle using the Chargemap Pass with no commission fees.

It also enables you to remove ads and unlock an alternative route in the route planner, which prioritizes lower-cost charging stations while maintaining a reasonable driving time.

Additionally, more features will be available soon!

Please note that owning a Chargemap Pass is not mandatory, though it is recommended. With the Chargemap Pass, you can enjoy commission-free charging and additional discounts.

Will Chargemap have to be paid for?

No, the app remains free to access, with no purchase or subscription required.

What are the benefits?

Without Chargemap Boost:	With Chargemap Boost:

Compared to the free offer, the Chargemap Boost subscription allows you to avoid paying the 10% commission on each charge with the Chargemap Pass, enjoy an ad-free app, and also benefit from discounts at promotional stations during dedicated campaigns. Additionally, you get access to an extra economical route that prioritizes cheaper charging stations, alongside the fastest route.

For Chargemap Plus subscribers who wish to keep their Plus subscription*, you will retain the ad-free app. If you decide to subscribe also to Chargemap Boost, you will simply gain the other advantages offered by the service!

What are the prices?

There are two plans depending on your needs:

Monthly plan

Annual plan (27% off compared to the monthly plan)

€8.99/month, cancel anytime

€6.49/month (the most economical), totaling €77.90 per year, paid in one go

For both plans, renewal happens automatically on the anniversary date of your subscription.

Billing management, whether for subscription or renewal, is handled directly by the AppStore (iOS) or PlayStore (Android) and is independent of your Chargemap invoices.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, you can switch from the monthly to the annual plan directly in the mobile app. The payment will be immediate, but the new subscription will take effect at the end of your current plan, allowing you to enjoy the monthly offer until its end.

Android users: you cannot switch from the annual plan to the monthly plan through the PlayStore. You will need to cancel the annual subscription and then subscribe to the monthly one through the app.

How do I subscribe?

Download the Chargemap app for free
Log in or create an account, then go to the Account tab to find the Chargemap Boost subscription
Click on "I Subscribe"
Enter your preferred payment method or use the one linked to your AppStore or PlayStore account.

Your Chargemap Boost benefits will be available immediately!

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription directly through the AppStore or PlayStore.

You can manage your subscription directly from your Chargemap ccount.

Once canceled, you will continue to enjoy your Chargemap Boost benefits until the end of your commitment period (1 month or 1 year, depending on the plan).

I already have a Chargemap Plus subscription, what should I do?

If you're already subscribed to Chargemap Plus, you will keep your subscription.

However, if you want to switch to Chargemap Boost, here's how:

Open the mobile app, go to the Account tab under the Chargemap Boost section
Click 'Change my subscription' to subscribe to Chargemap Boost

You will immediately access this new subscription and its benefits. The date of the plan change will become the new renewal date for your subscription.

On iOS (AppStore): you will be refunded the unused portion of “Chargemap Plus” on a prorated basis.
On Android (PlayStore): When you switch to Chargemap Boost, the new plan activates immediately. The remaining time from your Chargemap Plus plan will be added to your Boost subscription, giving you extra time calculated on a prorated basis.
