Linking up the Chargemap Pass in the Tesla app
Great news! The Chargemap Pass is now compatible with most of the european stations* on the Tesla Supercharger network!
But this time, the process is a little different.
The charging session is launched directly from the Tesla app. This means you don’t need to badge your Pass on this network. To use the network, you first need to link your Chargemap Pass up to the Tesla app.
This is a one-off operation to be carried out before charging for the first time.
Follow these steps to link your Chargemap Pass up to the Tesla app
1/ Download the Tesla app and create an account or use your existing Tesla account if you have one
2/ Once connected up to the Tesla app, go to your “Account” and follow these steps.
- Go to your "Account" section, then to "Charging" and finally to "Manage Payment"
- Go to "Add payment Method" and "Add Charging Card", then select "Chargemap"
All that's left to do is to add the Chargemap Pass infos, indicate your Chargemap Pass number and your first and/or last name, then "Send"!
3/ Validate the verification email sent by Chargemap (don’t forget to check your SPAM).
The link is valid for 24 hours. Beyond this time limit, you’ll just have to start the procedure all over again.
4/ Well done! You can now use the Tesla app to charge your vehicle at a Supercharger using your Chargemap Pass!
Extra information
You can unlink your Chargemap Pass at any time by removing it from your Tesla app. If you want to link it up again, simply add it to the Tesla app once more!
