Charging station selection
The current selection of stations is based on the following principle:
- we drive along the route until we reach a certain % of remaining battery, then we look for an accessible station to avoid going below 15%.
- the station with the fastest charging time and the shortest detour is inserted into the route
There may still be some inconsistencies, e.g. a better station a few kilometres away, but which would result in a 14% arrival time (and therefore be excluded). By sharing your concrete use cases with us, you can help us to improve the tool.
We advise you to "play" with the maximum speed to reduce your consumption and skip a step that would cause problems.
The feature that will allow you to select an alternative station is planned for the coming weeks. It will allow you to compare the different options available while maintaining an optimal journey.
